Zoey Update

So I have been the worst blogger mom ever. I do have a very legitimate excuse though. I don't have internet so I am now at my mom's house and taking advantage of the time that I do have the internet. Zoey is now 18 months old. I can't believe it. She has grown up so fast and she is absolutely adorable. She is so much fun and does the cutest stuff ever. She is very independent and is the best biggest sister ever. She has a little OCD as well. She hates to have her hands dirty, she is a clean freak and hates messes, she has the most tender heart and cries when we get mad at her for the littlest things. We love her to death. Her are a few random pics of Zoey being her. She is definitely a girly girl too. She loves dressing up and putting on jewlery. She loves attention and has to make sure you are watching her when she does something. She is a handful and a ham and we love her.

Catch Up

So these past couple of weeks have been crazy. It has been a bit more difficult adjusting to two babies. Thank goodness for family, friends, and an amazing husband. I don't know what I would do without my family. They all came up for the weekend and visited. Zoey has had a hard time adjusting too. All the attention is not on her and so it makes it hard, plus she is throwing tantrums already.... What??? I thought this was not supposed to happen til the terrible 2's hit. Well she is definitely throwing them and she is getting better because we threaten time out and she hates that. Zoey also turned 15 months old. She seems so big compared to my little Ellie.
Her stats:
21 lbs. 3 oz.
31 inches
She had to get four shots and she was not a happy camper. She ran a really bad fever too. I honestly hate the shots so bad. I swear it makes them feel worse and then they dread going to the doctor.
Ellie is doing better with her nights and days. I had to switch to sensitive stomach formula and that has helped a ton. The only problem is that she sleeps with Shawn and I in our bed and I swore I would never let our kids do that, but I got to the point that I needed some rest and she wouldn't sleep in her bassinet so I layed her next to us and she fell right asleep. Go figure. Anyways, I am scared to put her back in her bassinet but I am going to try again tonight and see how it goes. I really don't want her sleeping in the bed with us., but I am the kind of person that needs her good eight hours of sleep or I can not function mentally and physically. Other than that we are doing great and I love having my two girls. I wouldn't change a thing. And I swear Ellie doesn't look a thing like Zoey, but a bunch of people think so. What do you think???

She Is Here!!!

Meet the newest and cutest addition to our family.... Ellie Maurine Boyle. She came at 7:48 AM on Sunday morning the 26th. She weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long. She is absolutely perfect. So we have been to the hospital three different times thinking I was having Ellie, but all three times were false alarms. Well a couple of hours before we went into the hospital we went out to Linder Farms with my mom. Zoey absolutely loved it. There was a petting zoo there and she absolutely was in heaven. She got to feed all the animals and she was just laughing her head off. Well right when we got there we headed over to the petting zoo and all of a sudden a big gush of water came. Thought nothing of it because I have peed my pants twice now thinking it was my water. Well we headed home and Shawn went to his brothers to watch the big Boise State football game. Well I kept having leakage going on so I was a little worried. So I decided to do the famous test- lay down for thirty minutes doing nothing and if you stand up and a big gush comes then sure enough your water has broken. Sure enough the test came true. So I called Shawn and he headed to the house to pick me up and we headed to the hospital. Luckily my mom was in town and decided to stay an extra day. We are so lucky to have had her here to be with us and watch Zo. I was only in labor for four hours and got an epidural. They put me on pitosin and I tried to get some rest while everything was trying to happen. So at 2:00 AM I got the epidural. Then they checked me at 6:30 AM and I was only dilated to a 4. Well at 7:30 I started feeling a lot of pressure so I called my nurse and sure enough I was at a 10 and ready to push. She said to not move or push and that she was going to call the doctor. The doctor was there for ten minutes. I only pushed twice and she was here. The most amazing experience was that the doctor let me grab Ellie as she was coming out and pull her up onto my stomach. The best thing ever. Everything is going well. Zoey still is not sure of her and is adjusting for sure. Ellie has her days and nights mixed up too. So that is a little tiring, but all in all she is a great eater and we love our new addition to the family. Love you Ellie bug.

Labor Day and much much more

Labor day weekend was a blast. My brother Luke, his wife Linds, and their boys Lincoln and Ledger came to visit. We so loved having them here. We had a blast. Too bad our apartment is so tiny, but it worked out great anyways. We went to the zoo, had a picnic, went swimming, made a super cute wreath, went to the park, did glitter toes, and ate out a bunch and much much more. It was so much fun. My little Zoey is so sad and going through withdrawals without her two cousins here. She loves them to death. Thanks for making the trip up you guys. We love you.

And last weekend we were able to take one last trip to eastern Idaho and to go to the cabin in West Yellowstone. I love the cabin. It is the best place on earth. We were the last to go there and had to close up shop for the winter.

On another note Zoey is officially walking. I am loving every second of it and so is she. She even tries to get running and will get a little ahead of herself, but she loves it. She also has all top four teeth coming in at once, so it is a little painful and she is a little crabby.

We also purchased a new car, a Yukon. I am so excited about it. We now have two cars. It was a little rough living in a bigger city with only one car. Zoey and I walked everywhere we needed to go. Good exercise for me though I guess.

And last but not least, I thought my water broke a week ago. I had two large gushes in the morning after I had went pee. So I packed up a bag and Shawn had to come back from school and pick us up. Turns out it was just that I had peed my pants. I am still a little skeptical about it. Wouldn't you think I would know if I peed my pants. Oh well, I am glad because it was too early. She needs to cook in the oven a little longer, but I am ready and excited any day she decides to come. Still haven't decided on a name either, but hopefully we will soon.

My Fun Filled Week

So while Shawn was in Moscow for the week for a week long course for school, Zoey and I headed to Shelley to spend time with my family. We had so much fun. In fact there was so much fun that I ended up leaving Zoey with my parents for another week while I am in Boise getting things ready for baby #2. Zoey loves her Papa and GoGo. They have a blast. She is definitely better for them than me too. That sucks... My mom and I also made some fun crafts. We made a scripture cover, bows, watch bands, and the cutest car seat cover. We of course ate well, visited friends and grandparents, went to a splash park, shopping, stayed up way too late, and much much more. Thanks again mom and dad for keeping Zo so I can get some stuff done and relax before my world ends soon. You guys are the best. Love you tons-
P.S. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my little Zo to like riding in the car. As soon as we put her in the car seat she freaks out and its the worst thing ever. It doesn't matter if we are only going for a ten minute ride or a four hour ride. Its all the same. I thought about buying a DVD player for her to watch Baby Einstein and movies on. She honestly hates her car seat. The funny thing is that she will play in her car seat and sit in it if its just sitting in the house on the ground, but once we strap her in and go in the car, she is a crying monster.

Oh The Fun In Boise

Boise is awesome. We are loving the weather and all the fun things to do. Our summer has been jam packed this last little bit. There is a Splash Park that Zoey absolutely loves going to. She can just crawl around and get wet. Its nice for me so I don't have to watch her so carefully. I also had my big 25th birthday. We went garage saleing the morning of and then went and played frisbee golf and went out to dinner. We got this rocking horse at the garage sale and Zoey absolutely loves it. She thinks she is a cowgirl. It was just another day, but so fun to spend with my two favorite people in the whole world. Baby #2 is doing great. I swear I can't get any bigger in the belly or I will explode and I still have 7 weeks left. My back is in so much pain and I just feel so more uncomfortable than I did with Zoey. Oh well, I am just more than grateful that I can bear children and bring them into this world. I also had to take the three hour glucose test. It was horrible and I never want to do that again. Thankfully I passed it and everything is good with me and baby. Zoey is growing up so fast and maturing so fast too. She has started to take her first steps, but still likes to have a hold of someone's finger when walking. She has also started these fun temper tantrums when she doesn't get her way and she will throw her head back on the floor and throw a huge fit. Not quite sure how to handle it. I didn't think that was supposed to happen until she turns like 2. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have pretty much just ignored her and she eventually stops quickly. Anyways, that is what we have been up to. I am so sad that summer is coming to an end. Shawn starts school in a little over a week. Not ready for that to happen. I am gonna be a single mom of two.
