So while Shawn was in Moscow for the week for a week long course for school, Zoey and I headed to Shelley to spend time with my family. We had so much fun. In fact there was so much fun that I ended up leaving Zoey with my parents for another week while I am in Boise getting things ready for baby #2. Zoey loves her Papa and GoGo. They have a blast. She is definitely better for them than me too. That sucks... My mom and I also made some fun crafts. We made a scripture cover, bows, watch bands, and the cutest car seat cover. We of course ate well, visited friends and grandparents, went to a splash park, shopping, stayed up way too late, and much much more. Thanks again mom and dad for keeping Zo so I can get some stuff done and relax before my world ends soon. You guys are the best. Love you tons-
P.S. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can get my little Zo to like riding in the car. As soon as we put her in the car seat she freaks out and its the worst thing ever. It doesn't matter if we are only going for a ten minute ride or a four hour ride. Its all the same. I thought about buying a DVD player for her to watch Baby Einstein and movies on. She honestly hates her car seat. The funny thing is that she will play in her car seat and sit in it if its just sitting in the house on the ground, but once we strap her in and go in the car, she is a crying monster.

I LOVE the scipture covers and carseat cover!! You might have to teach me how to make those :)
Zoey is such a cutie and is the perfect combo of you and Shawn. Glad you got some time by yourself to get ready for baby #2!
I love the face Zoey is making in her carseat! I wish I had some great advice about the carseat thing - let me know if you get some, because Scout has been acting the same way. She cries and cries until the car turns off and she is immediately done.
I have the same problem with Victor in the car! We finally bought a portable DVD player for just in the car and it does work wonders. It won't work the entire time for a long trip, but it certainly makes things easier!
Those scripture covers are adorable. Logan was the same way about his car seat and a DVD player saved us:)
cute scripture cover, I love the flower fastener!
How did you guys make those scripture covers??!! I LOVE THEM! That car seat cover is adorable. I'm glad you get to have some rest and get things ready for the baby. Good luck!
A DVD player helps SO much in the car! The other thing my kids love is my itouch. I have a bunch of free apps on it that are great for kids. Things like puzzles, coloring, and matching games. Zoey may still be to young, but you'll be surprised how quickly they pick it up. Ava has no problem. Good luck!
Such cute pics and oh my word! That car seat cover is so adorable! It was fun to see! Good luck with baby number two! Aren't parents great?!
those are cute crafts, and it was so good to see you at kelsey's baby shower! you look so cute! :) we kinda snuck out of there early cuz garrett was getting restless and needed a nap bad!! i'm glad you had fun while in shelley.
about the car seat-i don't have any advice about it, sorry! do you think maybe she gets car sick? or her buckles are too tight? i don't know but i loosened the buckles with garrett and it was a complete turn around!
So fun! Don't ya just love making trips home! I'm so impressed with all your sewing projects. I didn't know you knew how to sew. Enjoy your week because I'm guessing your life will be a little upside down soon! (: You look great and Zoey is adorable. Hope everything goes great with #2.
