So these past couple of weeks have been crazy. It has been a bit more difficult adjusting to two babies. Thank goodness for family, friends, and an amazing husband. I don't know what I would do without my family. They all came up for the weekend and visited. Zoey has had a hard time adjusting too. All the attention is not on her and so it makes it hard, plus she is throwing tantrums already.... What??? I thought this was not supposed to happen til the terrible 2's hit. Well she is definitely throwing them and she is getting better because we threaten time out and she hates that. Zoey also turned 15 months old. She seems so big compared to my little Ellie.
Her stats:
21 lbs. 3 oz.
31 inches
She had to get four shots and she was not a happy camper. She ran a really bad fever too. I honestly hate the shots so bad. I swear it makes them feel worse and then they dread going to the doctor.
Ellie is doing better with her nights and days. I had to switch to sensitive stomach formula and that has helped a ton. The only problem is that she sleeps with Shawn and I in our bed and I swore I would never let our kids do that, but I got to the point that I needed some rest and she wouldn't sleep in her bassinet so I layed her next to us and she fell right asleep. Go figure. Anyways, I am scared to put her back in her bassinet but I am going to try again tonight and see how it goes. I really don't want her sleeping in the bed with us., but I am the kind of person that needs her good eight hours of sleep or I can not function mentally and physically. Other than that we are doing great and I love having my two girls. I wouldn't change a thing. And I swear Ellie doesn't look a thing like Zoey, but a bunch of people think so. What do you think???

Oh sweet Ellie...you are so stinkin cute. I love the pic with her eyes open. She looks nothing like zo. The pic of Linc and her is so sweet. Wish we were closer so I could snuggle that baby girl all day. It makes me feel better that Ledger isn't the only 15 month old that threw tantrums...remember how bi-polar he was? I'm sure she isn't near as bad as Ledge was. No fun. Keep the pics coming. Linc loves it. Love you guys lots!!
so cute! :) hallie (my niece) had a little bit of a hard time adjusting to another baby around, too. i would think that zoey's tantrums are just her way of getting mom's attention..even if it is bad attention! she'll grow out of it, i'm sure-but what do i know-i only have one!!
oh man, i hear ya on the no sleep thing! garrett has been in our bed for the past couple of months and he will literally kick me out of bed and on to the couch i go! so annoying!!!! hang in there! :)
it's kind of hard to tell who ellie looks like...but she sure is a cutie!
Try putting her in her car seat or a swing if she won't sleep in the bassinet. We had to do that with Weston because he liked to be enclosed. Then we would put him in his car seat inside the bassinet and then when he got used to that we got him out of the car seat. It's so hard to function without sleep! Especially when you have two! So good luck! I think Ellie looked like Zoey in that first picture of her in your previous post. But she doesn't look like her in these pictures. They are both adorable though!
Abby slept in bed with Alex and I for about a week, she wouldnt' sleep in her bassinette either. I finally figured out she just loved snuggling so I laid a blanket inside her carseat and she slept in that, worked like a charm...I think she felt like she was being held?
Your girls are so cute. I need sleep or I am a total basket case so I sleep with my kids when they are babies whenever they need it.
Good luck adjusting! I don't think she looks anything like Zo but they're both really cute!
I swore I would never let Graham sleep with us in our bed. . . he is in there right now! :) So don't feel too guilty. Your girls are adorable!
