Bookclub Rocks

For relief society in my ward, we are doing a bookclub and reading a different book for each month. Okay so really the only reason that I decided to go to bookclub was for the social aspect. Well I figured out really quick that it is not going to be much of a social party unless I read the books assigned. So I decided to go and get a membership at the public library and get the first book for the month of September for our bookclub. Now if you know me well, you know that I really dislike to read so this is huge for me. Plus I warned all the girls in bookclub that the books can not be much longer than 200 pages or I will never get it read. Contrare my friends. I did it. The book is called "Follow the River". I was a little skeptical at first and was not quite sure if I would enjoy it or not. I abosultely LOVED it. I could not put it down and every spare minute I had, I was picking up that book to read it. I would highly reccomment this book. It was AWESOME. This lady went through some major trials in her life and overcame them and more. I was thinking to myself I have been through a major trial in my life and overcame it, but I don't know if I could have done what she did. I won't give anything away just in case you would like to read it, but it is a winner.

Doctor

I took Zoey into the doctor for her two month shots even though she is really three months old. Well they didn't have all the shots in so she didn't get them and now she is sick so still can't get them, but they weighed her and everything else. She is in the 95th percentile for both her weight and height. She is going to be our little post player. Good girl Zoey.

More. . . .

Random

Here are some fun random pictures of our sweet Zoey. She loves tummy time and bath time. I am tempted to give her a bath almost every night, but can't because the water here in Moscow blows. It really dries up her skin.

More of the 5K

I love the picture of Zoey in the stroller. Her ears are totally poking out because of the straps. So cute.

Mommy and Me/ Daddy and Me

Here are some various pictures of Zoey and I hanging out. She is just changing so much every day and looking more and more different. She is smiling so much and is just so dang much fun. I love being with her so much. She is starting to only be wanting to be laid down in her crib and not snuggled anymore. I cried and cried yesterday because that was the first day that happened. Shawn, Zoey, Roxy and I ran in a 5K the other day. It kicked my butt. It was a lot of fun though. Zoey loved it and just loves being outside. She slept through most of it. There are a few pics of us at the end of the race. I met my goal though and good thing I had Shawn to push me. I can't believe I used to play college basketball and now I am that out of shape. Oh well, certainly worth it for my sweet Zo Zo.

There are a bunch of pictures so I will only post a few, but I just love taking pictures. I am constantly taking pictures and it is probably a good thing that I don't blog every picture I ever take. Hope you think these pictures are as cute as I do, but I guess every mother thinks their child is the cutest!! And of course she is all dolled up with bows, big poofy dresses, and bracelets. I had an incident the other day where a lady told me there was no way she would dress her girl the way I do and get her all dolled up. I really took offense to that, but guess what- I decided that it doesn't matter. She doesn't have to do that, but I love to and I think my little Zoey looks absolutely adorable. So here is to all the big fluff and pink stuff. Gotta love it.
