Life Lately

Well I have been out of sync with the blogging world lately, and that sort of sums up my life too. Life has been crazy for me. So this picture below defines it all up. I went downstairs to get the girls their clothes for the day and came back up to find them playing in and eating pancake mix. And they thought it was the best time ever. I couldn't help but just laugh and take pictures. So glad they get along so well. If you want a good time and don't want to be disturbed for a while just let your kids dig into some pancake mix. I have a ton of catching up to do on my blog, but I will just start taking it one day at a time.

Cousins and Sisters

Zoey loves her cousins, especially Lincoln. She wants to do everything he does and gets so excited everytime she sees him. It is so cute. Why buy toys for the kids??? The other day all they wanted to do was jump into a big pile of newspaper that was crumpled up and then hide underneath them and wait for somebody to find them. It was super cute. They played like this for at least two hours. So funny. Zoey loves being outside. The first thing she does when she wakes up in the morning is ask for her shoes to be put on. She loves the trampoline and she just loves helping her Papa with yard work. I also wanted to take some pictures of the girls in their cute Easter dresses. I think they look so cute together. And of course Zoey had to have Papa with her at all times.. Zoey loves shoes and purses. Whenever we go shopping, that is the first thing she finds. I think I might be in trouble, but I love it because that means she takes after her mommy. I love to shop too. I knew I was doing something right as a mom. And I just had to add in a cute picture of my niece Oakley. She is such a sweetheart. And she is so tiny. I honestly don't know how to hold her sometimes because my girls were such chunky monkeys. She is one month old and we love her.

The Girls

No I haven't dropped off the face of the planet. 2011 has been crazy. And it has already flown by like crazy. I can't believe it. Ellie is now 8 months old and Zoey is 23 months old. They definitely keep me busy. Ellie is crawling all over the place and into everything. She is just now starting to really like cereal. And she still gets up once a night to eat, but goes back to sleep. She is a lover definitely and is my little snuggler. She has the world's greatest smile. She honestly smiles on demand and I love it. She is going to be a smart girl. She picks up on things so fast. Zoey is my little terror and terrible tantrum girl. She has such a strong personality and is so independent. She has to do everything on her own and don't force her. She is my little social butterfly. The other day we were at Arctic Circle and she was saying bye and waving good-bye and blowing kisses to two Qwest guys. She is so funny. She loves her Papa and Gogo. I swear she is better for them than for me. We are currently staying at my parents house for the summer to save on some rent. Its crowded and hectic, but I love it too. At least I have somebody to talk to and vent to and help me out with the kids while Shawn studies for the Bar. There are a bunch of random pics of the last little while. Easter, crazy packing days, and other random stuff. Anyways... Thats about all I got for now. Just a quick update on the busy girls. Have a fun fun summer..

Christmas for Zoey

Christmas this year for Zoey was the best. She absolutely loved it. She had the time of her life. She finally understood unwrapping presents too. She had a huge load of presents and only wanted the first one she opened which was a baby and a stroller. My mom and dad also spoiled her and got her the cutest little Dora couch and she wants to sit on it all the time and eat her favorite thing- Dorito chips. She can pretty much do anything and eat anything at Papa and GoGo's house. She is gonna be hating life when we finally return to our house in Boise. However, Zo hated Santa as you can tell in the picture. It was rather quite funny too. We love our family so much. We are so blessed to have such great family and we are so thankful for their love and support in everything. Shawn and I are so blessed to have great family.

Christmas for Ellie

This year for Christmas for Ellie she did not get one gift from us. She doesn't know any better right??? She was sure cute in her Christmas outfit though. She did get the cutest coat and beanie hat from her aunt Linds and uncle Luke though. And her aunt Nanny loves her to death.

My girls

My two girls love being together. Zoey did not like having a sister and sharing the attention at first, but now she loves her. In fact she threw a cell phone at her, but now she loves to hold her, give her kisses, change her diapers, make her smile, tickle her and talk to her. They are going to be the best of friends, hopefully.

Ellie Update

Our little Ellie bug is already 3 months old. She is so much fun. She is such a happy baby. She smiles non-stop and is loved by so many. She has a hard time sleeping though and wants to be held at all times. Makes it very difficult for mom to get stuff done and for me to get any time to play with zo zo. I have tried everything too. I have let her cry it out and I have held her and I just can't figure out what she likes, but she is a bundle of joy and we absolutely love her to death. There are a lot of random pics including her blessing and just laying around the house. I am a really bad mom and have not taken near as many pictures of her as I did with Zoey. I feel really bad. She is stuck with the second baby syndrome. She is our little bug though and we wouldn't want it any other way.
